Copyright music and the Internet

There are now a growing number of cases in USA where wedding videographers are being sued for using commercial music on their website clips - despite having the licence required to produce the video to DVD using the exact same music.

The situation has now become so complex and the powers that be becoming so inconsistent in what they will or will not allow, that we can no longer risk showing the original video clips on line. They will now be replaced, when time allows, using copyright free music. This is far from ideal but at least it allows us to show the clips legally.
This does not change anything with regard to music on your wedding DVD, only to the use of the same music on the web.

Abbey House Hotel. Barrow in Furness

Nice to be filming a wedding at Abbey House Hotel again, haven't been there for quite a while. Charlie and Ling didn't quite manage to pick the driest day of the year but that did't dampen the celebrations. Jason Chambers covered the photography and a short carriage ride round the corner to the old Abbey ruins coutesy of North East Carriage Co. Ltd. provided some stunning location shots. Clarence House reception for Victoria and Gavin

That's Clarence House in Dalton (not the other one!) After the service at St James, Barrow in Furness it was off in the sunshine for the reception at Dalton. Photos by Mike and Dawn of Kells Photography then back into Barrow for the evening party at The Nines.

Claire and Scott brave the weather

The beautiful surroundings of the Rampsbeck Hotel and the fell side setting of St Peters Church at Martindale. As guests slip slopped their way through the mud to the service and raindrops playfully rolled down the canvas of the marquee at Old Church House - well, you get the picture. Water off a ducks back to Claire and Scott (and everyone else for that matter) Great day, great party.
